Everyone living in London has a go to restaurant that they just can’t get enough of. And fans of Dua Lipa will be pleased to learn what that place is for the singer.
In her new culture newsletter, named Service 95, Dua Lipa gave her top spot to Western Laundry, Jeremie Cometto-Lingenheim and David Gingell’s seafood restaurant. Not hard to see why, just look at the food on offer here.
She also gave shout outs to the Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Gymkhana, which is no stranger to a celebrity endorsement, with David Beckham and Ed Sheeran known to be frequenters. Berenjak was also on the list, which is best known for it’s fabulous plates of Kebabs.
Yotam Ottolenghi’s famed Fitzrovia spot Rovi was also worthy of a mention, as was Guy Ritchie’s gastropub Lore Of The Land.
This won’t be the last you hear from Dua Lipa on food, either. Those who sign up will receive plenty more recommendations of spots around the city (welcome aboard, Dua Lipa).
She wrote that each week subscribers can read “brilliant articles by incredible writers I admire from all over the world”.
“I’ll also share personal recommendations and discoveries (this long-time habit of creating lists and sharing them with loved ones is what inspired Service95 — just call me your cultural concierge). So, with that in mind, here are some of my favourite London food haunts.”
