Kristin and I had a wonderful time in Italy. We were able to see a lot
in only two weeks. It was a long haul over there. A nine hour flight to
London, two hour flight to Milan, one hour bus ride to the train
station, one hour train ride to Varenna, and a 15 minute walk to the
hotel (actually almost 45 minutes because we got lost on the dark
streets of Varenna).

Some pictures from our trip to Trieste, Italy in February 2002. We
basically drove from Sarajevo -- five hours in the company car to
Zagreb, then another two or so hours in a rental car from Zagreb through
Slovenia to Trieste, right over the border.
