I visited Copenhagen with my friend Dave Clancy in March 2000. We flew
with Go, and stayed at the Saga Hotel near the central station, booked
through British Airways Holidays.

While in Germany, I went here twice; for a week in 1987 and as part of a
Scandinavia trip in 1990. Lego started out here, and I loved
constructing towns and castles from it. If you loved Lego too, visit
Legoland in Billund, on Jutland.

The best way to see Copenhagen is on foot or on bicycle during the
summer months. In this way, the town will reveal some of its most
charming aspects to you: The beautiful site close to the sea, the long,
bright nights, the numerous historical buildings with an exciting past,
the flourishing cafés and restaurants, the colorful parts of the town
with an exotic and ethnic atmosphere, the refreshing green parks.

Denmark : the smallest and most southern of the Scandinavian countries,
Denmark offers an interesting mix of modern lively cities and peaceful
rural countryside. Ancient castles, forts, jazz festivals, the sleekest
modern design and even the people who invented Lego. Choose an area
