Pictures and Travelogue of Tonga
I visited in September/October 1999. The arrival on Nuku'alofa was a bit
disappointing: quite cool at this time of the year, too many tourists
(mostly stop-over americans, australians and kiwis), and nowhere to swim
because of the low-tides.

Tonga (map) was the second country/territory I visited on my Pacific
Islands trip. My visit was from the 26th of February 2000 to the 26th of
May 2000. Apart from staying two days in Toni's Guesthouse in
Nuku'alofa, I always stayed with Tongan or expatriate Fijian families
(all working for the Assemblies of God Church) at home in both towns and
villages.
