After years of reading tales of adventures in the Himalayas, I
finally went myself to make the walk into the heart of the world's
highest peaks. The mountains are indeed incredible; but I was also
moved by the kindness of the people, fascinated by the mix of
Bhuddist and Hindu religions, and surprised by the geographic
diversity of the country.
