I traveled to Asia for seven weeks during May and June, 1997. It was
my first trip to the continent, but I hope not my last. For sheer
cultural and geographic diversity, no continent can compete with
Asia.

Bangkok - The Eastern & Oriental Train Trip -
Singapore
Our April 2004 trip took us to Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. We
started in Bangkok, where we stayed in the Peninsula Hotel, voted
'Best Hotel in the World' in 2003. We spent three nights in Bangkok
before embarking on the incredible Eastern and Oriental Express
Train for a luxury three day trip that ended in Singapore.

After our extensive and exciting journeys throughout Southeast Asia,
we entered the large, colorful, scenic, diverse and chaotic
sub-continent of India. After India, we travel north to Katmandhu,
Nepal, where we will climb up to Mt. Everest Base Camp.

A rather spontaneous business trip to Seoul and Okinawa for the US
military. I got a call at 9pm one night, and the next morning Lynn
and I were on a plane. We also used the time to take a 9 day holiday
in Tokyo. Japan was a fascinating country. I will certainly return
there sometime soon!
